I was born in Texas, and grew up in the New Mexico ranchlands, the oldest of five children. I attended Eastern New Mexico University and University of Kentucky, majoring in Psychology and Marketing, and began a 25 year career in the transportation industry where I established a proven track record of accomplishments in leadership development, problem solving, conflict resolution and mentoring.
No longer satisfied with the corporate world, I seized an opportunity to advance in a new arena. I enrolled in West Virginia University, earning a degree in Business Administration/Management Information Systems.
After a few short years, I found I was moving away from my true passion: helping others navigate the challenges and changes of life to reach their full potentials. I missed the mentoring aspect of corporate life, but had no desire to return to that career myself.
Enrolling in iPEC, the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching, which is accredited by the International Coach Federation, I have established myself as a Life Coach specializing in Life Purpose, Empowerment, and Transition Coaching.
I am so blessed to have come full circle. I believe life is a creative journey that is meant to be explored and shared, and in following a desire to have more not only from my life, but from those whose lives I touch, I've embarked on a journey of living and leading others to the enriched, empowered, and fulfilled life we all deserve.
I live near the north Georgia foothills with my lovely, understanding wife Sue and two very spoiled cats, in close visiting distance to three grown children and three remarkable grandchildren.
